Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
We appreciate all our volunteers and all the help they provide but a lot of us are getting up there or are already up there in age and we could really use some young blood to help us with things like heavy lifting and walking strong dogs. If anybody is interested in volunteering give us a call on 419-307-1559, even one day a week or an hour a day would be a big help.

Notes: Cowboy Bob is a 3 year old Cowboy Corgi (Australian Cattle Dog and Corgi). He is very sweet, great with kids and other dogs but not sure on cats. He needs work on his potty skills and needs a lot of running, exercise room. A house with a large fenced in yard would be ideal.
